I have been very busy recently, here are two new sites I have been working on.

This is a website I have created for a anti graffiti company called Clevercoat.

Clough and co was designed by myself and coded by Ross Featherstone.

Hand Drawn Pixels is a creative blog for anything interesting. Its updated on a regular basis and they are always adding to contributor list. Their logo is forever changing thanks to the contributors creating there own marque.

John Farnworth ball spotted on BBC

You might have seen the ball designs on a previous post. The ball was spotted on BBC Three show Russell Howard’s Good News where John appeared as the mystery guest on with the new ball. He showed and performed a routine and then chatted to Russell about what he has done in his life and career as a football freestyler.

This is Romec's multimedia presentation. It was commissioned to communicate an overview of Romec, showing how their services could interlink, while offering a direct route to detailed information in a straight forward manner. This was completed before Christmas and is now hosted online for everyone to see. I was involved with some of the flash animation for the sectors. At long last the new This is Chemistry website is now live. We took the past website content and put a completely new frontend on the site. It now runs off WordPress so everyone in Chemistry is able to amend the site.

I have had my website up a few months now and naturally I have a couple more things to add. As I started to add new content I then decided to redesign a couple of bits and bobs. Note to self don't redesign stuff it only complicates things more!!! Anyway the update is now there for you to see.

Thanks to Geo, a great illustrator and old school friend, he has brought to life our studio walls at This Is Chemistry. The murals are of robots and construct different projects depending on the room. He did 3 rooms for us, the creative studio, accounts side and the board room.

Just completed a national advertising campaign for the steel company Corus and BCSA. Aimed at communicating the depth of BCSA and Corus. Key delivery routes for support are face to face consultations, research documents, online resources, conferences and phone based support. Each image was composed of hundreds of images of faces to communicate the huge number of people regularly using and supporting the services

Little Mester name

A few people have been asking me about the name of this blog ‘The Little Mester’. I have taken the name from ‘Little Mesters’, which were the backbone of Sheffield's cutlery industry and were instrumental in helping the city achieve its worldwide reputation for quality craftsmanship. The phrase Little Mester is a regional term used to describe Sheffield's self employed cutlers who rented space in factories and had their finished goods sold by the factory owner. However the term is also more widely applied to almost any self-employed craftsman working in steel or metal.

I am from Sheffield and my industry, design, uses the same principles as the Little Mesters did which was to create a very polished product. Unfortunately there are very few left now therefore I thought I would take the name.

Romec Innovation Centre

After many months in the making we have finally finished the Romec innovation centre in Leeds. We were given a large room and a brief to explain the many aspects of what Romec do, in a simple and educational manner. We did this by dividing each aspect of the company into colour co-ordinated areas and creating interactive multimedia platforms to explain exactly what they can offer. We have created everything from designing bespoke furniture to model railway and scalextric tracks!!

Hi this is my first post and I thought I would share with you the most recent website I have designed. Ross Featherstone has done all the back-end & fiddly bits!! The company is Clearwater who are at the forefront of the freestanding bath industry. Here is a link to their site www.clearwater-revival.co.uk.
