Just completed a national advertising campaign for the steel company Corus and BCSA. Aimed at communicating the depth of BCSA and Corus. Key delivery routes for support are face to face consultations, research documents, online resources, conferences and phone based support. Each image was composed of hundreds of images of faces to communicate the huge number of people regularly using and supporting the services

A few people have been asking me about the name of this blog ‘The Little Mester’. I have taken the name from ‘Little Mesters’, which were the backbone of Sheffield's cutlery industry and were instrumental in helping the city achieve its worldwide reputation for quality craftsmanship. The phrase Little Mester is a regional term used to describe Sheffield's self employed cutlers who rented space in factories and had their finished goods sold by the factory owner. However the term is also more widely applied to almost any self-employed craftsman working in steel or metal.

I am from Sheffield and my industry, design, uses the same principles as the Little Mesters did which was to create a very polished product. Unfortunately there are very few left now therefore I thought I would take the name.

After many months in the making we have finally finished the Romec innovation centre in Leeds. We were given a large room and a brief to explain the many aspects of what Romec do, in a simple and educational manner. We did this by dividing each aspect of the company into colour co-ordinated areas and creating interactive multimedia platforms to explain exactly what they can offer. We have created everything from designing bespoke furniture to model railway and scalextric tracks!!

Hi this is my first post and I thought I would share with you the most recent website I have designed. Ross Featherstone has done all the back-end & fiddly bits!!
